A new era optical design lens with an exceptionally bright maximum aperture, the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 17mm f/1.2 PRO is an adaptable wide-angle lens with 34mm-equivalent prime for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. The lens’s key feature is its fast f/1.2 maximum aperture, which is suitable for working in difficult lighting conditions. Also inbuilt with a complex 15 elements, 11 group’s construction gives extra-low dispersion, aspherical, and high refractive index elements to degrade both chromatic and spherical aberrations for notable image clarity, sharpness, and color accurate image. A nine-blade aperture is featured inside to achieve a smooth pixel quality when working in the shallow depth of field techniques, and a Z Coating Nano has been applied to every individual element of the lens to limit flare and ghosting for improved contrast.
